You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as: experience working as a data warehouse developer using Microsoft SQL Server technologies to build a data warehouse of wholesale electricity market data from the U.S. Regional Transmission Organizations (RTO) and Independent System Operators (ISO); and, specialized experience is further defined as having experience developing visualizations and dynamic dashboards that show market participant behavior and market outcomes in the U.S. wholesale electricity and natural gas markets.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
There is no education requirement for this position; therefore, transcripts are not required.
This vacancy is being used to fill positions in the one-year remote work pilot program. Employees selected for the remote work program will not be required to report to an official Commission duty station on any frequent, regular or recurring basis. Official duty stations will be verified and approved upon selection and will be set where the employee regularly performs his or her duties. Locality pay and cost of living increases for remote workers will be set within the General Schedule Locality Pay Table of the remote worker's official worksite.
