This position provides office clerical and administrative support to Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) Fleet & Family Support Centers (FFSC’s). The incumbent reports to the FFSC Director for guidance and supervision but interacts extensively with staff in the performance of duties.

The incumbent must be able to instantly assess and respond appropriately and conscientiously to crisis situations to include family violence, suicide risk, and individual crisis situations, and is able to make knowledgeable and accurate judgment in providing hands-on assistance or additional self-help resources. Performs full range of administrative support functions to include front desk coverage for customer service. Provides administrative support to the FFSC Director and staff in the following areas: clinical calendar management; updates and maintains task tickler addressing on-going report requirements, new taskings, and action-item tracking. Completes correspondence using word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and other approved computer programs as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is eligible for a referral bonus and up to $2,250 in retention incentives in the first year of employment.
