JOB SUMMARY: "This is a developmental position with known promotion potential to the target position of Criminal Investigator, GS-1811-13. Incumbent will serve as a civilian criminal investigator in a developmental capacity, performing assignments designed to further develop applicable criminal investigative analytical and evaluative skills and techniques. Incumbent works with the supervisor in performing duties identified in the full performance standard core personnel document/core document."
DUTIES:
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Specialized Training: Completion of the Criminal Investigators Training Program (CITP) or federal equivalent is required to perform the duties of this position. (Qualifying federal CITP equivalents include: Federal Bureau of Investigation New Agent Training, Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Training, US Army Criminal Investigation Division Special Agent Course, or United States Air Force Special Investigations Academy (USAFSIA) Special Investigators Course.). AFOSI's Basic Special Investigator Course (BSIC), is also required for this position . If selected, applicants who have not completed CITP (or equivalent) or BSIC will be required to attend and successfully complete both courses.
EDUCATION: 1 year of Graduate-level education or superior academic achievement as demonstrated by:
