This position serves as the alter ego and principal advisor to the DFAS-Columbus Site Director. He or she is responsible for assisting in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating, DFAS accounting and financial management programs; identifying actions required to sustain and improve accounting and finance operations to meet DoD and DFAS goals; and participating in the design of near and long term strategies for the continued improvement of accounting and finance programs.
