Alaska Positions: The salary range given above includes base pay and locality pay. You will receive a 2.86% cost of living allowance for Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau, or 4.40% for all other Alaska locations. This allowance is subject to annual review, adjustment and grade decrease.

Professional experience coding using Javascript, Python, .NET, HTML, and other programming languages to create a wide range of geospatial tools, applications, and systems within a web, desktop, or cloud environment. Additional experience working with REST APIs (e.g., ArcGIS API for Python/Javascript) and knowledge of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards are required.
Demonstrated experience developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
Software development skills, concepts and techniques including methods of integrating and optimizing components, infrastructure requirements, database management features, and test and evaluation methods to design, code, test, debug, and maintain geospatially-related programs and web-based services.
Advanced experience programming/developing applications backed by cloud services.
Mastery knowledge of ESRI's software suite (ArcGIS Desktop software, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise) plus other geospatial applications such as FME and open source tools.
Professional knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) including SQL Server, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL. Knowledge is required to create and manage geospatial web-based products and data as well as Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) protocols.
Ability to work with national, regional, and field staff to develop requirements, project roadmaps, and deliverables.
