As Director of the Office of Proceedings, you will:
-Provide overall management and executive leadership to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Office in support of the Board's mission.
-Advise the Chairman, other Board Members, and Board staff on legal, procedural, and transportation policy matters consistent with the Board's goals and objectives.
-Define broad objectives of the Office and initiate necessary management programs for meeting those objectives.
-Direct a staff of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative employees, and allocate resources to ensure the accomplishment of the Office's responsibilities.
-Establish internal case deadlines, prepare budgets, and motivate staff to effectively process the deadline-driven caseload.
-Oversee the intake of filings, circulation and service of decisions, and recordation of security interests.

Minimum Qualifications: As a basic requirement for entry into the Senior Executive Service (SES), you must clearly articulate and describe within your resume (no more than five (5) pages)evidence of progressively responsible supervisory, managerial, or professional experience which involved management of a program or organization of significant scope and complexity. Mandatory Technical Qualification (MTQ). Below is the description of the Mandatory Technical Qualification for this position. MTQ 1 - Demonstrates skill in providing expert legal advice and support to attorneys, organizational leadership, and staff on complex legal matters involving regulatory and administrative matters, including the preparation of draft decisions.
