This position is located in the Portland, OR office within the Office of Energy Projects, Division of Hydropower Licensing.

In addition to the education required for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as: experience preparing documents that assess complex fisheries issues related to existing or proposed infrastructure projects, at least one of which must be in a water environment.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.

The duty location of this position is Portland, OR. Based on our current operating status, FERC employees are teleworking as opposed to coming on-site. Telework days and any waiting period for eligibility will be determined at that time.
