The incumbent serves as a Trial Attorney with the Bureau of Enforcement (BOE) in formal proceedings instituted before the Commission in investigations instituted under the Shipping Act of 1984; section 19 of the Merchant Marine Act, 1920; the Foreign Shipping Practices Act of 1988 (FSPA); Public Law 89-777; and related statutes codified at 46 U.S.C. 40101 et seq.
