Duties

Help
  • Managing the workload of a staff of investigators and clerical employees.
  • Supervising and evaluating the performance of a staff of investigators and clerical employees.
  • Monitoring all enforcement and case development and educational/outreach activities in order to meet agency goals.
  • Training employees in investigative skills and techniques including analysis, interviewing, fact-finding, on site inspections and negotiations.
  • Reviewing work products of team members to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Responding to correspondence and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

For the GS-13: You must have at least one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience includes working in areas requiring knowledge of the laws against employment discrimination and investigating and/or resolving alleged violations of those laws.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 13 level.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
