    Summary

    This announcement is to fill multiple vacancies. You will serve as a Marine Surveyor in the Board of Inspection and Survey, Command, Control Computers, Intelligence and Combat Systems (C5I) Directorate (Operations, Navigation, Information Systems, and Communications, Navy Environmental Protection Directorate and Supply and Habitability (SUP/HAD) of PRESINSURV NORVA.

    Worked will be performed at multiple locations.

    Responsibilities

    • You will use standard test equipment such as Digital Mass Air Flow Anemometer, and Bead Probe Thermocouple Pyrometer.
    • You will communicate effectively at flag level briefings, training naval personnel in the proper maintenance procedures/operation of ship's systems/with Inspection and Survey (INSURV) Board members/external stakeholders in the technical community.
    • You will collaborate with subject matter experts to identify the nature and scope of problems or issues difficult to determine and develop new metrics or sampling methods to gather, examine and display data.
    • You will analyze Naval Vessel material condition and readiness data, develops trends over time and uses the data to formulate studies or projects to inform senior Navy leadership.
    • You will conduct Habitability/Sanitation inspections of compartments/spaces of ship causes using the INSURV Inspection Guidelines/applicable Planned Maintenance System/associated Maintenance Requirement Cards assessing equipment/space condition.
    • You will conduct Material Inspections (MI), Acceptance Trails (ATs), Surveyors and Final Contractor Trails (FCTs) on naval surface vessels.
