GS-04 ONLY: Your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of general experience that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. General experience for this position is defined as: Experience that may have been gained performing various clerical and administrative duties such as utilizing automation software to prepare a variety of documents and reports, assisting with the scheduling of staff and events, collecting data in support of budget preparation, reviewing and arranging travel for staff members. OR 2 years above the high school level that was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
GS-05 ONLY: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: one full year (52 weeks) of progressively responsible specialized experience in the same or similar work at a level of difficulty and responsibility that has equipped me with the necessary knowledge, skills or abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience that may have been gained performing various clerical and administrative duties such as conducting surveys and analyzing data, maintaining records/documents which represent the business or organization, scheduling of staff and events, utilizing automation software to prepare a variety of documents and reports, collecting data in support of budget preparation, reviewing and arranging travel for staff members. OR 4 years above the high school level that was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
A combination of experience above and higher education as described, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
