Open to U.S. Citizens who are students currently enrolled full or part-time in an accredited college or university program, classified or academically ranked by semester hours as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student.
We're looking for a year-round, paid student cooperative to assist us with creating IT skills training tutorials, user guides, videos, tips and tricks for current and new agency applications and internal communications. We want a team player who is willing to learn and able to work in our Arlington, VA, headquarters office. We are looking for a high-energy student who is comfortable alternating between working independently and as part of a team. You will have a passion for crafting fun and creative informational communications. Your work will be seen and heard because what we do reaches a geographically dispersed OIG staff of over a thousand employees.
The student co-op will work closely with the Enterprise Services leadership and team to provide support in creating and updating instructional IT videos, short user guides, and knowledgebase articles. Experience in creating website graphics and SharePoint page creation and updating is desired. The position comes with a wide range of responsibilities, including locating applicable IT trainings, checking on applicability and compatibility, updating and marinating our IT training site, sharing tips and tricks of the current technology we use, and any other duties as assigned.
The Student Cooperative Program is available for continuous employment throughout the year, while enrolled in school.
This position is being advertised at the Administrative Band level. The base salary range for this position is $14.94-$18.00/hour. Locality Pay is authorized.
Sophomore $19.65 per hour includes locality pay
Junior/Senior $20.89 per hour includes locality pay
Graduate or Law Student $23.68 per hour includes locality pay
