This position is located in the 153d Air National Guard (ANG) Airlift Wing, 153d Maintenance Group, 153d Maintenance Operations Flight, and serves as a consultant to the 153d Maintenance Group Commander / Director of Maintenance.
(1) Develops, interprets, and provides program guidance to the Wing regarding maintenance policies, procedures, budget, training criteria, and manpower/personnel.
(2) Directs aircraft maintenance analysis activities for the Maintenance Group. Reviews and interprets aircraft maintenance analysis information to implement programs that positively affect the future health of the aircraft fleet.
(3) Represents the Maintenance Operations branch, participating in discussions, meetings, and/or serving on panels or committees concerning maintenance policies and procedures.
(4) Plans and schedules work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently be permanent or indefinite technician in the WY ANG.
Must submit vMPF Rip, SF-50, and previous 3 performance appraisals with application.

Must possess the listed AFSC for Qualification or minimum ASVAB scores to retrain to AFSC 2R000.
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a T3/SECRET security clearance.
May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probationary period.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.
Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.
Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP) and TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS).
Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a Technician.
Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least 36 months experience, education or training in computations of cost data on labor and materials, buying materials or reviewing data with respect to man-hours, machine time, materials consumed, etc. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Experience in supervising subordinate personnel, establishing work priorities, overseeing work in progress.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g. 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Must possess or be eligible to obtain AFSC 2R000, MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT.
For award of AFSC 2R090, qualification in and possession of AFSC 2R071 or 2R171 is mandatory. Also, experience is mandatory managing or directing functions such as maintenance analysis, plans, scheduling, documentation, engine management, supply liaison, or MOC.
