Performs work involving a sequence of several tasks requiring some skill and judgment with close attention to accuracy following set procedures. Assist in preparation of stock solutions of soap, bleach and starches. Maintains record of numbers of laundered items processed in a specific period. Sort's bulk laundry by type of linen, e.g. bed linen, table linen, towels, etc. Separates torn or stained items and reports to supervisor. Maintains laundry area in clean condition and assists in cleaning machines periodically. Performs other duties assigned.
Education is not required for this position and will not be utilized in determining minimum qualifications.
