Degree: A Bachelor's degree in accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting is required. The 24 hours may include up to 6 hours of credit in business law. (The term "accounting" means "accounting and/or auditing" in this standard. Similarly, "accountant" should be interpreted, generally, as "accountant and/or auditor.")
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application. Financial Management Certification:
As a condition of employment, the selectee must meet the requirements of the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program. The FM Certification Program is a course- and experience-based program consisting of three certification levels. 1. This is a Tier 3 Senior Executive Service (SES) position. The salaries for positions found in the Tier 3 structure range from $163,333 to $203,700.
2. You will be required to serve a two year probationary period unless you have previously completed the probationary period.
3. You will be paid by direct deposit to a financial organization.
4. Selectee will be required to file an annual financial disclosure statement, form OGE-278.
5. Some travel of all modes of transportation within Continental United States is required.

8. An essential element of the SES is mobility across geographic, organizational, and functional lines. Individuals selected for SES positions may be subject to reassignment, which requires you to be mobile. DAWIA Statement: As a condition of employment, the selectee must meet the requirements of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification program. The appropriate DAWIA certification must be completed within three years of the selectee's employment start date, except that Key Leadership Positions at the GS-14/15 levels require certification completion prior to assignment.
