D&I Program Application and Assessment
Supports the implementation of D&I policies, programs, and standards, that address and advance FHFA's diversity and inclusion programs. Supports the established direction of D&I policy for FHFA across the full complement of human capital, talent management, and contracting and procurement programs. Contributes to the development and application of Agency D&I educational, outreach, planning, and assessment tools and communications. Helps support the development of OMWI diversity and inclusion goals, objectives, and clearly defined metrics.
Assists in developing and providing guidance to managers and supervisors on D&I issues, working closely with the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM), the Office of General Counsel (OGC), the Office of Equal Opportunity and Fairness (OEOF), OMWI colleagues, and other agency stakeholders to support the effective implementation and application of D&I initiatives.
Helps FHFA Divisions measure and analyze diversity and inclusion progress, including providing tools and logistical to support to efforts designed to identify areas of strength, areas for improvement, and concrete action steps.
Assists in the development of new programs and initiatives that expand the scope, impact, and leverage of both short-and long-term diversity and inclusion efforts.
D&I Outreach and Metrics
Assists in developing D&I reports, analytical assessments, and presentations. Works with OMWI functional staff to develop and support meaningful D&I project metrics and desired outcomes. Supports D&I outreach and education efforts and strategies to train and develop the workforce regarding diversity principles; helps review and assess D&I training and development program effectiveness.
Reviews diversity educational program strategies to ensure they support and are aligned with the agency's diversity and inclusion goals and objectives. Uses defined metrics and measures to review agency organizational systems, policies, and practices.
As directed by the Supervisory Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, participates in work groups, task forces, and special projects and studies critical to the effective application of D&I policies and the resolution of operational issues and problems.

Supplier Diversity
Manages supplier diversity procurement programs and practices to encourages the use of minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBT-owned, service disable veteran-owned, historically underutilized business, and Small Business Administration-defined small business concerns as suppliers.
Works with Agency stakeholders including the Office of Finance and Budget (OBFM) to drive initiatives that connect minority-, women-, and disabled-owned businesses (MWDOBs) with Agency business opportunities. Participates in Good Faith Effort (GFE) project initiatives and works with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and other OMWI functional colleagues in developing effective GFE compliance tools and solutions.
Assists in the development of annual supplier diversity goals and outreach objectives; develops action plans for educating FHFA stakeholders on supplier diversity/contractor initiatives; drafts supplier diversity communications, presentations, and other media as needed. Attends or serves as an OMWI representative at related FHFA budget, diversity spending review, GFE, and other supplier diversity-related meetings, committees, or technical conferences, as assigned.
