As a Energy Technology Program Specialist, you will:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Experience identifying, deploying and managing residential U.S. clean energy policies, best practices and tools to advance and or improve energy efficiency policies and programs; experience reviewing and monitoring expenditures for assigned projects/programs; experience advising management on unusual, difficult or controversial energy efficiency and renewable energy matters.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
