    This position is located in the Division of Information Technology, Enterprise Strategy Branch, CIO Project Management Office, HQ of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for advancing and maturing the enterprise architecture and strategic planning processes, and ensuring resources are strategically aligned to FDIC priorities.

    The incumbent directs the establishment of methods and standards to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, productivity and management/internal controls associated with the modernization effort of RMS' supervisory work processes and data.

    Provides technical advice and direction related to policies, programs, procedures and organizational objectives for modern technical business program/platform and determines implementation strategies for the products, tools and services offered.

    Develops or provides input to planning, budget, security, configuration, and problem management processes related to IT modernization programs and project management, and security strategies and measurement activities.

    The incumbent reviews program and project effectiveness with a view toward efficient accomplishment of objectives, goals, avoidance of duplication or counter productiveness and successful interaction with related programs and operations of other organizational elements of the Corporation.

    Represents the Division with senior staff of other FDIC organizational components, officials of other Federal agencies, and private industry to articulate FDIC IT strategies, policies and procedures, and gains the acceptance and cooperation of top senior officials.

    Advises RMS, CIOO and FDIC management staff in governance responsibilities, including providing guidance on proposed solutions across existing technology platforms and consulting with senior leaders on potential risks and shortfalls.

    Ensures the introduction of new technologies into existing environments is consistent with FDIC policies, security requirements, enterprise architecture, and strategic goals and champions the transformation and develops plans to implement solutions and business process enhancements to support goals and business requirements.

    Prepares and presents briefings on programs and projects to senior executive management, program officials and other agencies or trade groups.
