    About the Position: The Savannah District Office is located in the downtown historic district (largest in the nation) where you can live and walk to work. Gorgeous weather! Savannah is located on the Georgia/South Carolina border on the Atlantic Ocean and is easily accessible by I-95 and I-16. Savannah is home to Hunter Army Airfield and is 30 miles from Ft.     • Serve as Chief, Electrical Section, Design Branch with responsibility for assigning work to subordinates and assuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with agency criteria and project functional requirements.
    • Supervise design of substations, transmission lines, distribution systems, interior electrical power systems, and cybersecurity industrial control systems for military and civil works projects.
    • Responsible for all administrative work involving schedules, administrative reports, and personnel matters, as well as the expediting of work to conform with established schedules.
    • Assure that other engineers in the section include all improvements and latest guidance and technologies in the design process.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 25% of the time.
