The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. .
Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Gathers and compiles data for creating new class listing in the Service's learning management system and/or DOI system.
*Works with team leader/course leader/course developers in determining classroom needs, locations, space, travel arrangements and other course support related logistics.
*Contacts Service employees, Service training coordinators, partners and potential vendors to schedule and secure accommodations/locations for instructional activities and student lodging for onsite and offsite training events. Helps to coordinate/promote travel arrangements for course leaders, instructors and students as appropriate.
*Assists course leaders and curriculum managers in preparing student correspondence, course pre-work, classroom(s), special course forms, and post course materials.
*Occasionally goes on site with course leader to assist with classroom activities, coordinates local field trips, activities and other classroom related support.
*Prepares and assembles course materials for printing, shipment, and presentation at course location or provides directly to students in the case of pre- work or post training assignments.
*Oversees student registration process, prepares student rosters, creates billing transcripts, tracks tuition waivers ,formats emails, course information packets, student background surveys, etc. Provides general information on course listings, availability, and registration procedure.
*Contacts students and instructors as needed to determine special needs, transportation needs, gathers information and or coordinates activities.
*Supports the Division with special projects creation of job aides, reports, assisting with webinars, broadcasts, and special events.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable; however, if you are selected for the position, you will be required to produce the original official transcripts.
PASS/FAIL COURSES: If more than 10 percent of your undergraduate course work (credit hours) were taken on a pass/fail basis, your claim of superior academic achievement must be based upon class standing or membership in an honor society.
GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.

Ability to establish goals and priorities, ensuring progress toward their achievement, and making necessary adjustments to accomplish program objectives on time.
General knowledge of methods and media employed in training to organize training materials for classroom use.
Ability to communicate orally with a broad range of individuals, groups, organizations to coordinate training activities, gather information, and to provide information.
Knowledge of data gathering techniques and ability to compile and summarize information.
Ability to communicate in writing to prepare arrangements, draft and/or prepare reports correspondence and reports.
