    Responsibilities

    This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Finance, Finance and Accounting Division. The incumbent of this position provides support in developing and implementing travel policies, procedures, and internal control concepts; provides recommendations to management and program offices; analyzes, evaluates and/or improving the efficiency and effectiveness of internal administrtaive operations and identifies resolution to problems and/or taking corrective action.

    The incumbent of the positon is responsible for:

    •Processing financial transactions/entries and navigates management information systems and software including TranServe, ConcurGov and Momentum.
    •Analyzing, evaluates, and/or improves the efficiency and effectiveness of internal administrative operations as they pertain to travel and commuter benefit programs.
    •Conducting financial reviews of travel authorizations and records entries in the financial system of travel expenses being paid by a non-federal source.
    •Preparing reports and/or presentations on analytical findings and recommendations.
    •Serves as liaison between service provider Department of Transportation, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and USPTO employees participating in public transit subsidy and local transportation fare programs.
