The Health System Specialist within the VISN 8 Network Office, works closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and clinical program managers in performing duties directly contributing to the administrative management of a health care delivery system to include Women's Health programs and initiatives. Responsibilities of a Health System Specialist, or HSS assists with all clinical programs, focusing on Network-wide results, outcomes, and is also responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
