Your duty location will be at any BLM State/Center Office and is negotiable after selection. Information about the BLM State Offices may be found at BLM Locations.
Temporary promotion will be for a period not-to-exceed 13-months. This temporary promotion may be extended without further competition; however it may not exceed a total of five (5) years.
- Incumbent provides information, analyses, and advice on fish and other aquatic resources management to help meet the BLM's goals and objectives for these resources.
- Coordinates and directs the development of fish and other aquatic resources related strategies and guidance in response to the new and changing conditions, policies, and laws.
- Provides bureau wide coordination on policy development and implementation for fish and other aquatic resources management.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
