    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) serves as the world leader in providing timely, relevant, accurate and actionable
    geospatial intelligence (GEOINT). NGA's civilian, military and contract personnel evaluate imagery, maps, charts, multiple layers of
    foundation data - such as terrain, elevation and gravity - and the full spectrum of visible and invisible light in order to help users visualize
    what is happening at a particular place and time. Our intelligence officers go beyond describing 'what, where and when' to revealing 'how
    and why.' our work enables decision advantage for our policymakers, warfighters, intelligence professionals and first responders.

    Auditors perform independent assessments of Agency policy, programs, and operations, in accordance with NGA Office of Inspector General
    (OIG) guidance, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards, and other applicable requirements. They may oversee contractors
    performing audits on NGA OIG's behalf. They gather and analyze information to determine whether findings exist and develop
    recommendations for improvement. They prepare working papers and reports and follow up on report recommendations to ensure
    appropriate corrective actions are identified and implemented.

    The NGA OIG Audit Division conducts independent, objective audits and other reviews of NGA programs and operations and makes recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NGA policies, programs, and operations. The OIG Audit Division is seeking
    Auditors to research, plan, and conduct audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards with minimal
    supervision. These individuals will have an opportunity to participate in all aspects of the audit cycle from development of an annual audit
    plan through follow-up on recommendations. These individuals must have a strong ethical commitment to ensure the integrity, efficiency,
    and effectiveness of NGA programs; have knowledge of the theory, concepts, practices, and techniques of government auditing; be self motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment; have strong oral and written communication skills; and be able
    to work on multiple tasks with short deadlines while prioritizing as necessary to meet critical needs. This position is non-supervisory.

    Job Duties:
    1 Assess audit findings against applicable criteria to validate and review reports; review conclusions and recommendations before supervisory
    2 Consolidate, analyze, and integrate complex financial information; use applicable statistical methods and software to document work.
    3 Develop audit plans to ensure NGA program compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness; manage audit execution timelines.
    4 Integrate critical analysis, operational programs and accounting systems to conduct specialized or sensitive audit assignments; apply advanced accounting and auditing principles to achieve outcomes.
