    Responsibilities

    This position serves as the Dean of one of the regional campuses for Defense Acquisition University (DAU), directing a portfolio of learning programs and acquisition mission assistance that provides a global learning environment for acquisition professionals across the Department of Defense. Supports the planning, development and implementation of DoD acquisition education and performance development programs.

    Incumbent must demonstrate expert knowledge in the business of DoD acquisition, leading a regional campus workforce to provide education and performance development support to DoD acquisition workforce members within the regional area of responsibility

    Leads and manages programs for education and performance development in general acquisition functional areas to include but not limited to: program management, engineering, lifecycle logistics, contracting, financial management, test and evaluation and cybersecurity.

    Organizes, leads, directs, and manages assigned workforce who develop learning content, deliver knowledge, build skills, research and publish information concerning acquisition functional areas for the betterment of federal acquisition.

    Conducts Program Management Reviews across the portfolio of learning assets and engagement ensuring across the spectrum of learning, development, and engagement meet customer needs met with a frictionless learning environment, world class content, and a connected network.

    Partners with the DAU Executive Leadership team to plan and implement goals and initiatives in the Strategic Plan, Annual Performance Plan, and DAU products and services to meet the continuing and emerging needs of the defense acquisition workforce in accordance with DoD policies and strategic goals.

    Maintain digital fluency, currency and actively use university technology, digital and social media platforms for curation, creation and delivery of learning to customers and students.
