    This position is located within the within the Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Development (PD), Product Support Services (PSS), Health Product Support (HPS) organization. The incumbent serves as a IT Specialist (Applications Software), Sustainment Manager whom assesses the readiness and suitability of a new application to be migrated, or transitioned, into HPS for sustainment, and then, if deemed necessary, oversees the software transition and sustainment processes

    Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday- Friday

    Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. This position may require extended hours to meet project deadlines and to devise corrective actions and solutions to unexpected contract issues.

    Major Duties:

    • Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
    • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
    • Coordinate and manage the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end.
    • Lead and oversee budget, staffing, and contracting and provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures.
    • Review or conduct audits of information technology (IT) programs and projects.

    • Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performance to foster continual improvement.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Travel required up to 10% of the time.
