Major duties include:
· Leads the Development/Security/Operations (DevSecOps) team and works with developers and IT staff to create a predictable, configuration controlled, reproducible, and automated cloud computing environment that facilitates systems delivery and security monitoring capabilities for the DevSecOps team and enables the Museum to quickly build, test and deploy new products and services and strengthen the Museum’s compliance and security posture.
· Determines guidelines and standards for deploying Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Google Cloud Professional (GCP) Cloud infrastructure, system and application security requirements, and developing security solutions.
· As the Museum’s primary expert on technical matters concerning web, mobile, and other software applications, researches, evangelizes, and integrates existing and emerging tools and technologies to determine and directly implement appropriate methods of content delivery and presentation.
· Creates and documents project technical designs, working with team leads and teams to incorporate application needs and corporate policies into project plans and schedules.

BASIC REQUIREMENT: To be eligible for the position, you must meet the Basic Requirement for the position of IT Specialist. Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
Specialized Experience for GS-14: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal service that clearly demonstrates knowledge, skills and abilities in:
1) Developing long-term strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure integration of assessment and authorization programs with other IT cybersecurity programs and systems.
2) Integrating security programs across disciplines and overseeing and managing contracts for all information technology projects.
3) Preparing statements of work relative to upcoming network installations and general preparations for installations.
