As a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (Customer Support)(Service Operations and System Support Manager) you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Serves as an IT Specialist in a mission services role supporting the Program Management Office for the Background Investigation Enterprise System (BIES) to maintain Systems Operations, conduct Fault Analysis and Systems Recovery, Software Development (C languages) and Software Validation, Cybersecurity Hygiene activities, End User Customer Interface, Analysis and planning to fulfill Technical Requirements, and IT Service Management.
- Supports a number of efforts across DCSA organizations including Personnel Vetting, System Transition, Systems Technology Revisions and Configuration Control. This position will involve interacting with one or more of DCSA's partners and stakeholders.
- Responsible for process efficiency, fiscal accountability, and program management of PEO systems service management and customer support.
- Assisting the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in planning short and long-range customer support, assigning tasks, monitoring, evaluating and assessing contractor performance in assigned areas and reporting to the COR any deficient contractor performances.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
