- Provide leadership support to the Office Director in administering and evaluating, and provide oversight for EPA's Cybersecurity Program and for all Office of Information Security and Privacy (OISP) programmatic activities; oversee the planning and execution of OISP budget and human resources in coordination with other Office of Mission Support offices.
- Coordinate the efforts of the OISP staff in the performance of their daily tasks and responsibilities as well as contractor support to OISP Operations.
- Provide management and oversight of EPA’s Risk Management program, including but not limited to vulnerability management. Ensure appropriate evaluation of system controls in relation to their compliance with security requirements is ensure the protection of EPA’s information and IT systems, as well as the critical processes of EPA's computer networks.
- Oversee of the Agency Security Certification and Accreditation processes to determine Agency information systems’ level of compliance with security requirements. Ensure Agency Authorizing Officials formally declare and accept the risks identified in deploying an Agency information system.
You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
Occasional travel - You may travel up to 25% of each month.
