    Plans, directs, and supervises all operations of the Information, Tickets and Travel program which serves a large volume of local and visitor/transient customers who visit the Tampa and Central Florida area. Procures, secures, and accounts for all tickets and monies associated with the program. Responsible for establishing and administering commercial reservation and ticketing services with airlines, hotels, cruises, tour packages, and any other travel related services for customers. Serves as subject matter expert in dealing with disputes with industry representatives or other agencies. Resolves customer concerns and conflicts in accordance with guidelines according to travel or tour requirements. Responsible for records management to include files and documents; receive, screen, review and verify documents for completeness and accuracy. Responsible for maintaining an up to date customer database. Fully utilizes industry promotional/special events/tours by using customer database to disseminate information in a timely manner. Assures after trip comment cards are completed by participants for use by management to determine trends and/or problem/improvement areas. Provides clear and accurate guidance and coordination of leisure travel information and referral services for both individual and group customers. Works interactively with co-workers in development of tours to both domestic and international areas. Determines and initiates information displays or contacts with other agencies to assure travel information, i.e., special tours and rates are well advertised and current for use by base populace. Must adhere to the rules and regulations to be observed in this area of specialty and local policies. Originates publicity information and forwards to Marketing and Publicity for distribution. Prepares budget, analyz.es financial results and revises budget as required. Maintains security of monies, tickets and fixed assets. Interviews, selects, trains and evaluates employees. Prepares work schedules, assigns duties, maintains time and attendance records, approves leave, and initiates personnel actions, employee recognition, awards, or disciplinary action as appropriate. Establishes policies for Information, Tickets, and Travel. Performs other related duties as assigned.
