You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Disaster Assistance (ODA), Field Operations Center West - FOCW in Citrus Heights, California or Field Operations Center East - FOCE in Atlanta, Georgia. However, your residence will be your duty station. This position provides support in developing, implementing, operating and maintaining Information Technology (IT) equipment and systems.
As an Information Technology Specialist at the GS-2210-9/11, some of your typical work assignments may include:

GS-09: Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in a related field or 2 full years of related progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent.
GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field or 3 full years of related progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent.
OR
A combination of experience and education as indicated above.
Education completed in colleges or universities outside the United States may be used to meet the above requirements. You must provide acceptable documentation that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
