    This position is located in Pacific West Regional Office, Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12, in the IT Division. More than one position may be filled. Position may be filled in San Francisco or Seattle.

    Plans, develops, and coordinates the implementation of computer-based services and applications in support of the unit's mission. Is the principal advisor to the unit's staff in the use of programs. Serves as an active team member in developing unit plans and is responsible for formulating and recommending information technology policies, plans, and procedures. After approval, incumbent is responsible for their implementation.

    Assures compliance with operational and security requirements as directed by General Services Administration, Departmental, and National Park Service regulations. Develops local implementing instructions based on guidance developed at higher levels when multiple system issues and network systems are involved.

    Performs IT help desk duties for Tier 1 through Tier 4 issues.

    Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
