    Summary

    This position is in the Office of Information & Technology (OIT), IT Operations and Services (ITOPS), Enterprise Command Operations (ECO), Incident and Problem Management (I&PM) and serves as the Major Incident Management Lead responsible for the full range of duties associated with systems analysis and customer support for all Major Incidents related to IT service outages, degradation of services, and unplanned service disruptions that negatively impact all VA's nationwide.

    Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and to
    attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site.

    Major Duties:
    • Distributes work and tracks progress of work assignments
    • Facilitates and coordinates team projects
    • Evaluates and monitors resource allocations
    • Leads technical support staff in providing customer service
    • Compiles incident and event data and prepares reports

    Occasional travel - Travel required up to 5% of the time.
