    Summary

    The Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Division (CPCD) is a unit within the Office of Critical Infrastructure and IT Security (OCIITS), Management/ CIO (Chief Information Officer) Directorate, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) where the leadership and direction for the Bureau’s privacy program with associated requirements and policies is located.

    Responsibilities

    As a Government Information Specialist (Privacy Act), you will:

    • Develop and implement Bureau privacy management policy and procedures and develops and meets any BEP privacy data call requirements (e.g. Treasury, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) etc.).
    • Work with legal counsel, management and specific committees to provide the framework for development of a Privacy program that ensures Bureau compliance with required Department policies and procedures, appropriate Privacy Act and confidentiality consents, authorization forms, privacy practice notices and materials reflecting current legal practices and requirements. 

    • Develop, maintain and monitor enterprise policies and procedures that reflect current business practices, as required by privacy statutes and regulations.
    • Participate in the development, implementation and ongoing compliance monitoring of business associate agreements to ensure privacy concerns, requirements and responsibilities are addressed.  

    • Create and conduct educational and ongoing awareness programs for department employees.
