    This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Superintendent, Crow Agency in Crow Agency, Montana.

    As a Natural Resources Officer ,GS - 0401 - 12, your typical work assignments and/or responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

    Formulate and establishes work in the management, conservation, protection and utilization of the soil, range, wildlife, mineral and water resources.

    Responsible for all matters involving tribal natural resources programs within the jurisdiction of the Agency.

    Renders assistance to individual allottees as requested or required to meet their property management objectives with competent leasing to mediate disputes or controversies.

    Administers a comprehensive compliance programs as it relates to use or occupancy of lands.

    Perform field investigations and monitors and assists in the enforcement of lease and/or permit stipulations.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
