As a Financial Data Analyst, you will:
Utilize Python and R to manipulate large data sets and generate reports and charts to assist in identifying data anomalies and financial risk trends;
Build and maintain data pipelines through automation of such tasks as downloading, webscraping, data transformation, and updates of existing data sets;
Utilize data received from other analysts to create reports and presentations that provide analytical results in income forecast, balance sheet projection, stress testing, financial metrics, risk surveillance, and asset performance.
Manage the ONES data collection portal including collecting uploaded files and responding to user access requests.

RECENT GRADUATE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY: To meet the Pathways Recent Graduates program requirements for this position, you must have graduated from a qualifying educational institution or program within two (2) years of the date you submit your application or will graduate no later than June 30, 2021.
ATTENTION VETERANS: A veteran, as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108, who due to military service obligation, was precluded from applying to the Recent Graduates Program during any portion of the 2-year eligibility period shall have a full 2-year period of eligibility upon his or her release or discharge from active duty. PROGRAM COMPLETION AND CONVERSION ELIGIBILITY: Program participants MAY be converted, without a break in service, to a term, career or career conditional appointment upon completion of program requirements. To be eligible for conversion, Recent Graduates must:
-Complete one continuous years of work experience acquired through a Recent Graduate Program;
-Complete 40 hours of formal interactive training;
-Meet the qualification standards for the position to which the Recent Graduate will be converted;
-Meet any NCUA specific requirements specified in the Participant's Agreement;
-Demonstrate successful job performance that results in a rating of record of at least Fully Successful and a recommendation for conversion by the first level supervisor; and,
-Be recommended for conversion by the first-level supervisor.
Note: Career Ladder Promotion Statement: For positions that are multi-graded, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next grade level in accordance with OPM regulations and NCUA policies.
SALARY: Pay will be set within the advertised pay range to align with the selectee's skills and experience and the requirements of the position. Pay will be set using NCUA's compensation policy. Promotion is not automatic and is conditional on demonstrated ability to perform the higher grade level duties, a current written performance appraisal rating of "fully successful" or better, fulfillment of the necessary qualification requirements, and sufficient work at the higher grade level position.
