A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, or Technology Management, AND three years of specialized network and/or server engineering or administrator experience,

Three years of general IT experience as well as three years of specialized network and/or server engineering or administrator experience.
Examples of specialized network and/or server engineering or administrator experience include: configuring network devices and/or servers for optimal performance and security; configuring and operating patch management process or software; configuring Windows domain services including DC, AD, DNS, DHCP; managing virtual environments, including hypervisors, SANs, blades, hyper-converged systems; managing cloud-based environments including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS service models; and/or configuring and monitoring the secure operation of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs and other wired and wireless networking equipment.
Incumbent must meet the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification requirement (e.g. CompTIA Security+) within six months of hire and must maintain certification throughout assignment to the position.
Some positions have special requirements. Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period. Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
