    About the Position: This position is with Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers (HQ USACE), Directorate of Human Resources, Duty Location: Ft. Shafter, Hawaii. Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) is 10.28% but subject to change.

    This position will be filled on a permanent basis.

    This position may be filled at the GS-12 or GS-13 level. If filled at the GS-12 level, there is non-competitive eligibility to the GS-13 level.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as staff level representative with the Organization, program proponents, and Civilian Personnel Advisory Centers (CPACs), to provide recommendations, and to maintain currency of program developments, laws, regulations, and procedures.
    • Performs formal on-site review of HR operations using staff team members to evaluate program effectiveness, timeliness, and conformance with policies and directives.
    • Serves as an advisor to the Division Commander on all human resources management/administration issues within the Division.
    • Recommends to the Director changes to existing DA, OPM, and the Organization's policies and regulations necessary to accomplish a sound and responsible program.
