As an Interdisciplinary Research Fish Biologist OR Research Mathematical Statistician (Official Title will be determined based on the qualification of the selectee), you will perform the following duties:
- Identify and conduct research that focuses on stock assessments, fish population dynamics, and ecosystem-based management in the North Pacific and adjacent seas.
- Perform research supporting the development of new and improved mathematical and statistical models.
- Write specialized reports, peer-reviewed papers and publications based on research products with supervisory review.
- Present results to fishery management councils and other bodies.
Occasional travel - Up to 5% of domestic travel may be required.
