    About the Position: Serves as a team member for any of the teams established for the Civil or Military Branch. The purpose of the Civil Branch, Real Estate Division, U.S. Army Engineer District, Kansas City, is to provide all realty services for civil works projects in a four state area, consisting of portions of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.

    • Obtains all required data, i.e. ownership, cadastral maps, legal descriptions, appraisals, and other required documents.
    • Out grants federal real property. These out grants and permits are issued for agricultural, grazing, recreation, education, industrial, minerals, utilities, and other uses. Obtains appraisals as needed.
    • Makes compliance inspections of real property under the control of the Corps of Engineers and as necessary to assure compliance at military installations.
    • In case of fee-owner property for GSA disposal, inspects premises and obtains information from records for certification to GSA.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 15% of the time.
