    This position is located in the Office Information Technology (OIT), IT Operations and Services (ITOPS), Support Systems. As an IT Specialist (SysAnalysis) you will serve as a Senior IT Analyst to plan, coordinate, develop, improve and implement efficient and economical management of information systems in support of Enterprise-wide activities.

    Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and to attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site. Some employees may carry light items, such as papers, books, or small parts, or drive a motor vehicle. The work does not require any special physical effort.

    Major Duties:

    • Provide technical expertise and management on the implementation of assigned programs and projects.
    • Conduct applied and supporting research for management of information systems by meeting with functional specialist to determine needs.
    • Provide technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client-level hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components.
    • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
    • Oversee or conduct backup and recovery tasks.

    Occasional travel - Travel required up to 10% of the time.
