    Serves as Supervisory Traffic Management Coordinator (STMC) in an ATC-11 terminal facility. Responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective traffic management is maintained. Provides first line supervision to a staff of traffic management coordinators and other controller work force positions which ensures that traffic management instructions/restrictions are initiated in accordance with established procedures to maintain a safe and expeditions flow of traffic and minimize the impact of heavy flight demands.

    Continuously reviews work processes to assure that results meet the agency's mission and the customer's needs, add value to facility services, and are efficiently achieved. Provides training, coaching, and guidance to subordinates and facilitates team building throughout his/her area of responsibility. Interprets measures of organizational performance and communicates this information to the Operations Manager. Serves as a member of the management team to improve organizational performance and meet strategic goals. As Watch Supervisor, assumes overall management and supervision of the control room or tower cab.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.
