This is open ONLY to permanent career or career-conditional employees of Gateway Arch National Park.
Create and manage programming, maintain, troubleshoot and operate a 300 seat, digital theater. Troubleshoot, maintain, and prepare on a daily basis the new networked state of the art AV-centric museum under the Gateway Arch. Assist park interpretive staff as necessary to ensure theater presentations are appropriately staffed. Provide audiovisual support to all division and park partners for park programming, trainings, meeting, and special events. Troubleshoot and maintain the new state of the art AV centric "Journey to the Top" networked AV system for park partners. May on occasion serve as acting supervisor and assist Chief of Museum Services and Interpretation in carrying out duties assigned.
AREA INFORMATION: The Gateway Arch National Park is located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, on the banks of the Mississippi River. The park memorializes the city's role in westward expansion through the 630 foot Gateway Arch and underground Museum at the Gateway Arch. The Old Courthouse commemorates the site where the slave Dred Scott began his freedom suit, ultimately leading to the divisive U. S. Supreme Court decision that polarized the nation and became a leading cause of the Civil War.
