    Responsibilities

    Salary Range for Grants Pass, Medford, and Springfield, Oregon:
    GS-09: $53,433- $69,462
    GS-11: 64,649- $84,049


    Duties:

    GS-09:
    This position is located in the District/Field Office. The purpose of this position is to provide assistance in data research, input and interpretation, quality control, administrative record management, and implementation for the development of District/Field level planning and environmental analysis efforts such as Resource Management Plans (RMP) and analysis documents including Environmental Assessments (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS). Where analysis under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) is not required, documentation using a Categorical Exclusion (CE) or determination of NEPA adequacy (DNA) will be completed with the assistance of the incumbent.

    Major functional areas requiring a Resource Management Plans (RMP) or analysis under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) are lands, minerals, wilderness, range, fire management, wildlife, watershed, recreation, and forestry.

    GS-11:
    This position is located in a BLM Office. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership in data input and interpretation, guidance, quality control, administrative record management and implementation for the development of district/field level planning efforts such as Resource Management Plans (RMP) and analysis documents including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Assessments (EA.)
