    The Gallery’s Digital Experience Division is a new organization established to ramp up and sustain our public facing digital capabilities for a global audience. As a Product Manager at the Gallery, you’ll lead cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered products using agile methodologies and modern software development practices while building our capacity for product innovation.  The incumbent will be an articulate champion for our users in everything we do.

    The incumbent:

    Builds and mentors a small team of product managers focusing on delivering immersive, user-centered digital products for the public; developing tools, processes and templates for the growing team; designing and delivers an expanding suite of digital features and products. 

    Builds institutional expertise around product management; shares best practices and tools with peers across the organization; collaborates and shares insights and opinions with other product managers; shares lessons learned with peers and leaders to help guide the Division’s approach to digital transformation; keeps abreast of product management best practices and implements them  into the organization; keeps abreast of new technologies and how they could help solve user, visitor, and Gallery challenges; continually seeks out new product management tools that could improve the way we work.

    Executes and maintains transparent, strategic roadmaps and specifications for an expanding suite of new and existing digital products; defines priorities on an ongoing basis by clearly articulating user problems, delivery timelines, trade offs, objectives and key results for various initiatives.

    Partners with stakeholders, design team, and engineering to identify and actualize new features for digital products, including tools, templates and integrations with other products (e.g., native apps, email platform, membership platform, CRM, websites).

    Tests products at various stages of development to ensure seamless roll outs for our users.

    Monitors and analyzes key performance metrics to measure the impact of new features and unearth insights about how the products are being used, using the feedback to inform and adapt road maps.

    Conducts training and outreach to internal teams as well as external customers; influences and communicates the vision to a wide variety of key stakeholders and leadership

    Builds strong partnerships across disciplines and divisions, such as Design, Product, Engineering, Visitor Experience,  Public Programs and Curatorial, and Marketing to deeply understand user needs and business objectives.
