    As a Fish and Wildlife Administrator your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Serve as a manager, leader, and supervisor of multiple divisions ranging in grades from GS-5 to GS-14, to provide technical, scientific, and policy support to program activities. Programs include: Endangered Species, Modeling and Water Operations, Watershed Planning and Administration and Budget. Provide guidance to subordinate office supervisors to plan overall work, establish work schedules and priorities, make assignments, and review work. Set priorities for resource programs, including allocation of office budget and personnel ceilings to accomplish programs.
    • Direct and oversee work through multiple subordinate supervisors; advise the Assistant Regional Director, Deputy and Regional Director on sensitive and multi-faceted program management matters and issues; ensure equity among the Divisions within the office; direct a multi-million dollar program; and implement actions which eliminate barriers adversely affecting efficiency of field office operations.
    • Represent the agency in top level communication, coordination, and participation with high level officials of Federal and State agencies, Tribal officials, and representatives of local government offices to express Service policy, negotiate firm cooperative positions and programs to provide increased protection and enhancement of fish, wildlife, and their habitats.
    • Advise Interior officials on policy-level issues.
