    • Duty 1: Perform cultural resource data reviews, field investigations, reporting, and impacts and effects assessments (i.e. evaluations of management/preservation of National Historic Trails and Tribally Sensitive Sites).
    • Duty 2: Develops methods to avoid, minimize, mitigate adverse effects on historic properties by verifying compliance with Section 106 for Minerals and Natural Resource related land use planning.
    • Duty 3: Utilize National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (NHPA), National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA), and BLM Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Record of Decision (ROD) guidelines.
    • Duty 4: Assists with ensuring federal agency due diligence with respect to State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
