    The Associate Chief Information Officer for Resource Management serves as the IT Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and oversees all resource management functions within the Office of Resource Management in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of the Secretary (OST).

    Responsibilities

    The Associate Chief Information Officer for Resource Management oversees the budgeting, financial planning, and resource management of OCIO Administrative Working Capital Fund services, appropriated Salaries and Expenses (S&E), and Cybersecurity appropriation funding, as well as the day-to-day financial management operations and financial reporting for OCIO. The IT CFO has the primary responsibility of ensuring that information technology (IT) and other resources are procured and utilized to the maximum efficiency and effectiveness possible. This senior executive provides an array of financial and administrative assistance, support, and consultation to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Deputy CIO, senior management, and OCIO staff. The IT CFO is also responsible for the development and maintenance of cost models, customer estimates, customer billing, and associated customer materials. The IT CFO manages a multi-functional and multi-discipline workforce of federal and contractor personnel and administers an operating budget of approximately $400 million, which is currently increasing with the consolidation of IT commodity and program IT Shared Services. This senior leader will coordinate the accounting workload for OCIO Operations and Reporting and works in close coordination with the Office of Financial Management.
