    About the Position: Serves as Protocol Specialist in the Protocol Office, XVIII Airborne Corps Protocol, Fort Bragg. In the absence of the Protocol Officer, serves as the staff assistant and advisor to the Commanding General and Chief of Staff (CoS).

    • Independently plans, coordinates, and executes effective protocol assistance required by high level visitors, to include general officers, both foreign and domestic, and distinguished civilians of equivalent rank or higher.
    • Analyzes and reports to supervisor the significant happenings, interests, and impressions expressed by visitors and escort officers.
    • Oversees the development of itineraries to ensure compatibility with the scope of the event, to include social events, hosts, ceremonies, briefings, transportation, billeting, and escort support.
    • Develops checklists, operating instructions, and synthesizes material for different forms of written or verbal communication to command staff, area agencies and higher headquarters concerning visits, ceremonies, tours and official social functions.
