    Responsibilities

    The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is the principal advisor to the Under Secretary and Director on the application of information technology (IT) to support and improve the Agency’s business processes. The Office of Organizational Policy and Governance (OPG) provide the management and oversight of enterprise Information Technology (IT) strategies, guidance, policies, and agency-wide cybersecurity.  This position is located in The Software Quality Assurance Division (SQAD), Test Automation Branch (TAB) that provides complete testing support for all software systems, infrastructure, COTS, GOTS, Cloud Computing systems, High Availability, remote site systems, test automation test strategy and defect management.

    The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the following: 

    • Applying an understanding in where and how to integrate automated tools into the test case; and leads in development, implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks (i.e., data driven, keyword, table
      driven, hybrid, etc.).
    • Working with Test Automation Architect on the automation framework, tools, and the application platform to develop automation.
    • Managing automated testing artifacts to ensure proper reuse, versioning, backups, organization and retention. 
    • Managing an automated test repository or test library to include configuration management change and version control.
    • Providing guidance, support and monitoring of the test automation sprints.
    • Designing, executing, monitoring, and troubleshooting such tools as Test Complete, SoapUI, Selenium and others automated tests in a variety of situations and conditions.
    • Designing and developing test automation artifacts (scripts, functions, scenarios, processes) for automated testing situations using various tools (primarily Test Complete).
